Upgraded Professional Replacement T-Blade for Andis T Outliner gtx Gold
The ceramic material used in the manufacture of this blade ensures it remains sharp for longer. It is heat-resistant, allowing for a cooler and more comfortable cutting experience. The blade has a Rockwell Hardness rating of 78.
This replacement blade is compatible with the following Andis trimmers: Blackouts, GTX, T-outliner, and T-outliner Cordless. It is designed to replace the small moving cutter blade, and can also be used to upgrade steel blades to ceramic blades.
The installation process is straightforward. First, remove the screw from the trimmer. Next, install the plate and place the metal gasket on top, but do not tighten the screw completely. This will allow the plate to move up and down, enabling the moving blade to be positioned closer to the guide blade.
Adjust the moving blade to be slightly underneath the guide blade, creating a small angle (approximately 10 degrees). Tighten the screws once the desired positioning is achieved. Be cautious, as the moving blade is incredibly sharp.
After the adjustment, run your finger across the blade to ensure it feels smooth. If it feels rough, further adjustments may be necessary to position the moving blade properly in relation to the guide blade.
Finally, reattach the blade to the trimmer head and tighten the two screws.
